Whether you are real estate agent, appraiser, or home inspector, you probably have appointments and meetings scattered throughout your day.  Do you ever wonder what time you need to leave in order to be at your next appointment on time?

OnTime is productivity app that makes sure you won’t be late for an appointment again.

The app uses your current location and current traffic patterns to estimate how long it will take to get to your next appointment on time.  The app will send you an alert notifying you when you need to leave, alert your next appointment if you are running late, and can give turn by turn driving directions.

OnTime is a patent-pending, location-based calendar application (smartphone app) that securely syncs with your existing calendar, provides timely reminders, maps your route, notifies you of traffic delays, and can alert your next appointment if you’re running late. via iTunes

Some of the features of OnTime

OnTime integrates with the calendar you are already using.

OnTime is compatible with any mobile calendar on any iPhone, Blackberry, and Android phone.   OnTime will also work with Outlook.  You will need to download the Outlook plugin from their website.

Running late notifications.

OnTime can notify your next appointment by text, email, or one-click phone call that you are running late.  You can even customize the ‘running late’ message.

OnTime will notify you of traffic problems.

OnTime checks traffic databases to determine when you should leave, and if a traffic jam is reported to the database, it will add the appropriate amount of time to your trip before giving you an alert. If a traffic jam occurs while you are driving, then OnTime has the ability to let your appointment know that you are running late.

Think of it as your mobile Swiss army knife – a bundling of a variety of helpful tools in a single application using your existing calendar. via onTime

OnTimeiPhoneApp

OnTime is currently available for the iPhone for $1.99.  iTunes Link

The app will be available for Blackberry phones on 01/20/2011 and Android phones on 01/27/2011.

Bottom Line:

The OnTime app looks like a great app for any busy real estate professional.

Interesting. I wonder if it’s almost a dangerous app because we spend more time looking at the phone while driving? :)

Hopefully not! :) That is something I had not thought about. I have not tried the app myself but it looks pretty interesting.
