Yesterday Apple approved the Ustream Live Broadcaster iPhone app.  The app allows anyone with an iPhone 3GS to stream live video over Wifi or a 3G connection.  The app is very easy to use will automatically send out a tweet when you start your live broadcast.  Some of the other useful features are that you can send your videos straight to Facebook and YouTube.  The app also lets you chat with viewers while you stream video.

You can record a video with the app and save it to your iPhone if you don’t want to stream live.  You can upload the video to Ustream at a later time.

Here is my video to show you how easy it is to use the app.

I tried to stream live video from a house I was appraising yesterday but the app only recorded for a few seconds before stopping.  I am guessing my 3G signal was not strong enough.  I ended up recording the video under the local setting.  Click the image below to view the video I recorded with the app.
